AGREEMENT FOR REPAIR
The terms set out in these Conditions of Repair (“Agreement”) shall apply to the service we provide to repair your device. Reference to “us”, “we” and “our” refer to Leomax Ltd and references to “you” and “your” are references that refer to you, the person addressed on this form.
Leomax Ltd agrees not to disclose any and all information or data files supplied with, stored on, or recovered from client’s equipment except to employees or agents of Leomax subject to confidentiality agreements or as required by law.
Payment is due in full upon completion of successful repair, prior to release of the repaired Device.
90 days’ warranty on the hardware of the Device that Leomax Ltd has repaired. Leomax Ltd makes no warranty on data, water proof, and Leomax Ltd disclaims any data warranty of any kind.
ADDITIONAL TERMS FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS
The 90 Days Warranty does not apply if the device has been subject to further accidental damage. For clarification, the definition for accidental damage includes (but is not limited to) cracked screens, dented frame’s or bends and any other form of drop or impact as below
• Any mishandling that causes subsequent damage to the relevant device(s);
• Water or other liquid damage;
• Damage or faults resulting from attempted customer or third party repairs at any time;
• Software issues unrelated to the repair and/or any damage resulting from viruses or other malicious pieces of software that may have been transmitted during servicing or escaped detection; (e) any jail broken or “rooted” device;
• Water proof devices, as Leomax Ltd cannot guarantee the device(s) will remain water proof following the Repair Services;
• New damages unrelated to the original Repair Services; and/or
• Any loss of data occurring as a result of the repair – customers is advised to back up all data on the device(s) to be repaired prior to the repair. Leomax Ltd will not accept any liability for data or software which is lost, corrupted, deleted or altered during repair. You accept full responsibility for all software and data on your device(s) and Leomax Ltd is not required to advise or remind customers of appropriate backup and other procedures.
It can take many hours to fully diagnose your device. This is a free service we offer to all our residential customers on condition that we repair your device while your device remains on our premises. If you decide to not go ahead with the repair, a nominal diagnostic charge of £14.99 will be applied or if your device is beyond economical repair we are happy to recycle your device in lieu of our nominal diagnostics fee.
Liquid damage items are subjected to a non-refundable cleaning fee before we start any repair/diagnosis to the device. The fee for small devices (mobile phones) is £14.99 and larger items (laptops) £24.99.
APPLE IPAD & iPHONE AND MOBILE DEVICE REPAIRS
When Leomax Ltd take on your device for repair there are many situations that we are unable to test for before we start the repair and this disclaimer is in place to protect yourself and ourselves from any potential misunderstandings.
Unforeseen Damage of Malfunction
I understand Leomax Ltd will be unaware of any other potential problems that could arise as a result of the initial damage or by opening / disturbing the internal logic boards and internal cables during dismantle / repair. This may result in additional charges to cover the costs of parts required to complete the repair. We will endeavour to make you aware of this at the time of repair / diagnosis.
An example of typical faults that can occur with Apple iPhones and iPads as a result repair includes but not limited to:
• Fingerprint Sensor Damage – If your Finger Sensor is damaged please go to Apple.
• Internal Cables Damage
• Internal LCD Screen
• Casing Damage / Bent Chassis
• Front/Back Camera Failure
• Home Button / Lock / Volume / Off button Failure
Parts We Use
For Apple devices, we use THIRD PARTY PARTS and these are not officially endorsed by Apple. Other models may be a mixture of third party and original parts. Please specify if only original is required at time of booking.
Waterproof / Water Resistant Devices
To repair your device, we need to physically get inside it which usually means we have to break the waterproof seal (if any). Some items that are classed as waterproof / water resistant may not be waterproof on return to you. If this will affect the enjoyment of your device, please only ensure you get it repaired with the manufacturer directly to guarantee a waterproof seal on return.
REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY
Any device that is found to have any signs of liquid damage internally will be exempt from any warranties offered. We may still be able to do the repair but due to the nature of liquid damage/corrosion we will not offer any warranty what-so-ever. We will stop working on your device and inform you as soon as we see any signs of internal liquid damage. Liquid damaged devices may create further problems in the future. Further work on the device can be carried out with extra charges. Only after speaking with you will we continue with the repair.
Your data – includes photos, emails, documents
It is YOUR responsibility to ensure your data is backed up prior to repair. Leomax ltd will not be liable for loss of data whatsoever. We do offer a backup service – please ask for this BEFORE we start the repair.
During the booking in of your device we will ask you for certain details which we require to perform the service. This includes your name, address, phone numbers and email address. We may also require your administrator password to access your device to complete our service.
We may record or keep a detailed note of your conversations with our engineers for records purposes.
We ask for your name and address and telephone number/email address, (“Personal Information”) so that we can notify you when your Equipment has been repaired and so we can give you an efficient after-sales service. We may also send you emails from time to time to alert you to new services that we provide. By signing the order form and using these Services you consent to our use of your Personal Information as described. Proof of sending does not guarantee our receipt of your notice. You must ensure that you have received an acknowledgement from us which should be retained by you.
REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY
We allow you to return goods in addition to your legal rights.
Please return the goods unused and undamaged.
Goods have to be in unopened packaging in a saleable condition with Original till Receipt within 14 days of Purchases and we will offer you
• A Full refund to the value of the original Amount.
• An exchange of goods to the value of the goods.
• A credit note of the value of the original receipt.
